Left or right-side option
Compatible with different helm configurations, it can be mounted on a side panel or a center console.
Side-mount throttle lever
This in-house designed throttle lever is electric propulsion ready and adaptable for a wide range of marine projects. The ergonomic shape supports intuitive use, while multicolor LED indicators clearly show neutral detent and operating modes.

Key benefits
Keyless access
The keycard unlocks the throttle lever and starts your vessel with a simple touch. With no physical key to handle, startup stays quick, clean, and consistent.
Secure startup
The NFC-enabled keycard makes startup simple while adding an extra security layer at the helm.
Customisation
Beyond standard configuration choices, the side-mount can be adapted visually and functionally for the project. This includes aluminium finishes and branding details.
If a project needs something more specific, we can also discuss functional adaptations and define a solution around the exact helm concept, or vessel identity.

FAQ
Practical answers about mounting options, trim control, keyless access, and propulsion control integration.
No. Throttle lever is not limited to NT Systems propulsion and can also be used with other propulsion types, provided the integration is possible.
The top-mount and side-mount throttle levers can be used in both retrofit and newbuild projects, for leisure as well as professional vessels.
The choice mainly depends on the helm layout, number of motors, and station concept. Both options are ready for electric propulsion and can be adapted to project-specific control requirements.
The throttle levers communicate via CAN bus. The top-mount model is available with optional dual CAN, where port and starboard can communicate on separate networks.
Yes. Top-mount model supports single and twin lever variants, integration with multiple-motor setup, and both models support single or multi-station installations. In multi-station configurations, switching the active control station is straightforward, but it follows a defined protocol so that handover between stations remains safe, clear, and predictable.
Adjustable friction allows the resistance of the lever movement to be tuned, so the feel can be lighter or firmer. A detent is a physical “click” or defined position in the lever movement, helping the operator feel important positions such as neutral or gear engagement without looking at the control.
Yes. Both models can support multiple detents, including neutral, forward, and reverse. The exact detent logic can be defined based on project requirements.
The DOCK feature reduces throttle sensitivity, making docking and low-speed manoeuvring easier. The behavior can also be adjusted according to the client’s specification.
A secure NFC feature replaces the conventional key and switch. The NFC keycard becomes the key. Simply hold it near the throttle lever's keypad and the system unlocks.
Yes. This is possible with a single-motor setup, using the top-mount single variant and side-mount model.
Yes. Trim control is available with the side-mount model and can be included where required.
Yes. Side-mount is available in left- and right-side versions to match helm layout and mounting constraints.
